Mitsuhiro Yokota joined ICMM in January 2025 as Manager for Innovation, on secondment from ICMM company member Sumitomo Metal Mining. With over 18 years of experience in gold and copper mining, he has held various roles including senior manager of a new mine project, senior mining engineer and operation superintendent of operating mines, etc.
Mitsu holds a Masters degree in Mineral Resource Engineering from Hokkaido University, Japan.
